Magic Lantern
Project description:
Magic Lantern is a show where the circus reinvents itself through new media. Music, digital art and trapeze unite in the same space to transport the spectator into a suspended reality. The project was realized between Gaia Gaoi/Gabriella Gardosi, Max Quiñones, Kerian Lao and
Eva Clapp.

Gaia/ Gabriella and Kerian together formed a visual duo, Gaia Lao and designed special structures to catch the light using materials that let the light both pass and be reflected. This structure would encircle the trapeze for an air acrobatic performance.
The show is an audiovisual poem creating an immersive and unique atmosphere, to portray the world of dreams. The project was conceived as an intimate yet monumental scenic event that could be installed in any location.
The spectacle has been shown in Barcelona in 2013/14 at: La Felpa, El Otto and La Fanfábrika Circus.
